Woman dies during treatment, relatives damage hospital property in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A woman, who was undergoing treatment at a city hospital, died and this triggered violence on the premises of the hospital. The deceased, Shameen Begum, was admitted to Global Hospital, Hyderabad, for treatment. The relatives alleged that the reason behind Shameen’s death was medical negligence. As per reports, Begum was brought to the hospital after she complained of chest pain. Later, doctors at the hospital declared that the patient died during the treatment. On the other hand, hospital management stated that the patient was suffering from swine flu and interstitial lung disease.
