With Karnataka govt floundering, CM Kumaraswamy repents entering into alliance with Congress

Bengaluru: Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy, while addressing a gathering in Bengaluru on Thursday, said that it was unfortunate that he had come to power with the help of alliance partners. He hinted that considering the limitations of a coalition government, he will be unable to fulfil the promises he had made to the people of Karnataka.

After the alleged resort politics recently, Kumaraswamy's statement now has sparked rumours that the Congress-JD(S) coalition government will not last long. Earlier this month, Kumaraswamy, during a party meeting with JD(S) workers, had said that he was working as a clerk and not as a chief minister as the Congress had been severely interfering in his work.
