Bulandshahr twist: Wife claims Jeetu Fauji was in market, not on spot where cop Subodh Singh was killed

Bulandshahr: The wife of the Army jawan, arrested under the charge of killing policeman Subodh Kumar Singh, has said that his husband was shopping at a market at the time that the police claim he was on the spot of the alleged crime. Priyanka Singh said that her husband Jeetendra Singh alias Jeetu Fauji was at the Sayana market between 9:30 AM and 12:00 PM.

The soldier's wife says that she had received a call from her husband at the time that police say the murder of cop Subodh Kumar Singh happened when Jeetu Fauji said he was with some fellow jawans who were on the way to Bulandshahr. Priyanka said that the police were framing her husband in a false case.

Priyanka alleged that Uttar Pradesh Police personnel who had raided her house beat her black and blue. She showed scars on her body as 'evidence' of the alleged police brutality.

Priyanka said further that the purported video of the crime the police were bandying about did not have her husband in it.
