Watch: How BJP government is rewriting history

The BJP-led NDA government at the Centre is rewriting history, almost. The party is undoing the monopoly of the Nehru-Gandhi's in the terminology of addresses and state projects. Alongside, it wishes to change several colonial and Mughal-era names. The government purportedly wants to restore the honour of indigenous leaders and undo past measures of lifting invaders and monopolists from medieval and contemporary history to a high pedestal.
