Video of cat nibbling woman's corpse thrown in corner of hospital ward goes viral

The Coimbatore Medical College (government) Hospital  has drawn flak after a shocking video of a cat eating the dead body of the woman lying in the corner of the ward went viral on social media. Sadam, family of a patient, was arguing that his mother admitted there was not being attended to nor was being treated properly. He noticed the corpse in the corner of the ward and shot the video, circulated it on WhatsApp. The woman is unidentified and was admitted after someone found her on road with leg injury, on November 16. The hospital has responded to the same and said that the cat's presence does not mean the hospital is not clean. People responsible should come and clear the premises of cats and dogs. There was no comment on the woman's body lying in the corner of the ward.
