Vijayawada: In a shocking incident, a man who was set ablaze was seen rushing out of a building in the Governorpet area of Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, on Friday. According to reports, the man was targeted by the owners of a finance company. The man is identified as Devarapalli Gagarin, a businessman.
According to Vijayawada’s assistant commissioner of police, Ramana Murthy, two persons threw petrol on Gagarin and set him on fire. "Over 80% of his body suffered burns. His condition is critical," he said.
A witness, who was present at the time of the incident in Besant Road reportedly said that the victim asked for help to take him to a hospital. He also said that the victim allegedly revealed the names of the attackers as Madala Suresh and Madala Sudhakar.
