Uttarakhand: 12-year-old Dalit girl raped and killed, accused arrested (Video)

Police in Uttarakhand on Tuesday arrested the killer of a 12-year-old Dalit girl in Uttarkashi’s Dunda area. The arrested man has been identified as Mukesh, alias Bunty.

The culprit confessed of his crime after being questioned by the police. The culprit revealed that on the night of the murder he had gone to the victim’s house in an inebriated state. He abducted the girl, raped her and then murdered her.

The police arrested the accused on Monday on the basis of the statement given by the elder sister of the victim to the media. 

The blood-stained clothes and shoes of the accused have been recovered and he has been taken into custody.
