Uttar Pradesh: Cops attacked by villagers over land measurement dispute, many seriously injured (Video)

Sultanpur: Villagers of Chakrapur attacked the deputy land collector and the police who accompanied him, over a land measurement dispute. A couple of policemen were badly injured and were rushed to the hospital for treatment. The Superintendent of Police reached the hospital, and upon seeing the injured cops, deployed heavy security force to the spot.

When the administration, along with the police, went to measure the land, the villagers protested. When the police tried to maintain control over the situation, the villagers attacked them by hurling stones at the cops. The villagers then proceeded to attack them with sticks. The cops tried to handle the situation and eventually fled the spot after many got seriously injured.
