Train 18: India braces for the fast and furious (Video)

India is gearing up for the fast and the furious – a semi-fast train that will be functional from next week. This indigenously built engine-less train will zoom past at a speed of 220 km per hour. Equipped with a smart braking system, this would ensure fewer chances of accidents on the railway track. It will have 16 AC coaches with two executive ones. The seats in the executive class will have 360-degree rotating chairs as well.  Armed with Wifi, LCD screens for infotainment and speakers for announcements, Train 18 is something India has never experienced before. The trains will also be disabled-friendly. So get ready to experience the indigenously-built Train 18 that has caught the imagination of the country.
