TMC sprinkles cow dung-laced water to 'purify’ Cooch Behar ‘polluted’ by BJP

A day after Cooch Behar witnessed a massive protest march by the BJP, the ruling Trinamool Congress party found a unique way to do away with the reminiscence of the Amit Shah-led party.
 
On Saturday, the district unit of TMC 'cleansed' the area where BJP protested on Friday with water laced with cow dung. Also, anti-Mukul Roy slogans were raised during the 'cleansing drive’.
 
When asked the reason behind the 'cleansing drive’, TMC members said that it was to 'purify' the area since BJP held protests there.
 
They also said that the party is looking forward to doing the same all throughout the state.
