Telangana: Two Class 10 boys fall for the same girl, set each other on fire

K Mahender and Ravi Teja were classmates studying at a missionary school. They both had allegedly fallen for the same girl, who also studies in that school. While Mahender died on the spot, Ravi sustained injuries, but succumbed to it in the hospital.  

Hyderabad: Two Class 10 boys allegedly set each other ablaze in a clash over the same girl. Police say the two 16 year olds took this step by pouring petrol at each other while in an inebriated state at Telangana's Jagtiyal town, about 190 kms from Hyderabad.

Reports suggest that beer bottles and mobile phones were present at the site. Families of the deceased claim that a third boy was present at the scene, and the police is yet to verify this. 

 

Investigation is on to ascertain whether this was murder or suicide. Mobile phone data is being examined thoroughly by the investigators.
