Gajwel: Telangana's caretaker chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao filed his nomination at Gajwel constituency on Wednesday. Before filing his nomination, he visited Konaipalli Venkateswara Swamy temple with his nephew T Harish Rao. In 2014 elections, Chandrashekhar Rao had won with 86,372 votes against Vanteru Pratap Reddy with 67,154 votes. This time, Congress and TDP are in an alliance. Telangana Rashtra Samithi members are expecting their chief to win with a margin of over 1 lakh. TRS has declared 107 candidates so far and is yet to announce 12 names for the 119 Assembly seats. Rao had dissolved the Assembly on September 6 becoming the caretaker chief minister of Telangana. Assembly polls will be conducted in Telangana on December 7, results will be out on December 11.
