Telangana Assembly elections will be held on December 7. BJP is contesting in all 119 constituencies alone, without any allies
Hyderabad: Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath said if the BJP is voted to power in Telangana, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief and MP Asaduddin Owaisi will have to flee from the state just like the Nizams were forced to leave Hyderabad.
Addressing an election rally in Tandur near Hyderabad, Adityanath also targeted Owaisi's brother Akbaruddin and mentioned how Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel had chased the Nizams out of Hyderabad.
Reacting to this, Owaisi said that he will give a befitting reply to Adityanath's statement in every public meeting between 7 PM and 10 PM on Monday.
Adityanath was in Telangana ahead of the Assembly elections on December 7. The BJP is contesting in all 119 constituencies.
Adityanath also lashed out at the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and the Congress during another election rally in Sangareddy.
He said that the Congress was standing between the BJP and the Ram mandir as they are the real hurdle to build the temple.
Slamming TRS, he said that the caretaker chief minister Chandrashekar Rao's (KCR) party is just trying to appease the minorities and is not catering to the large part of the voters.
Adityanath addressed election rallies in Tandur, Sangareddy, Boduppal and Goshamahal.
Apart from Adityanath, BJP national president Amit Shah, Union minister Nitin Gadkari also addressed public rallies in Telangana.
Speaking after a road show in Hyderabad, Shah had slammed the TRS government and said that KCR was scared of AIMIM chief Owaisi and had stopped celebrating Telangana Liberation Day. He promised to celebrate the day on a grand scale if BJP comes to power.
