Tamil Nadu: Man loses life after drunk friends push him into well; 1 arrested (Video)

Vellore: On September 30, Mani, who came to visit his family from Bengaluru, planned to go out with his friends to consume alcohol and swim in a well. His friends, Sudarshan, Pawit, Rahul, Kalyan Kumar, Arun Kumar and Ajith Kumar had gone to a nearby well to drink. They were all in an inebriated state, when one of Mani's friends pushed him into the well. Mani drowned in water, and his friends fled from the place leaving Mani's cell phone next to the well. After hours of searching, Mani's body was found floating in the well. Parents examined the cell phone and filed a case against his friends in Vellore police station. The police have arrested one of his friends and are in search of the remaining five.
