Tamil Nadu cop suspended over bribery charges

Rajasingamangalam: A sub-inspector from RS Mangalam police station in Tamil Nadu was suspended after a video clip of him demanding electrical goods in a two-wheeler showroom went viral.

Sub-inspector Pandi was suspended on Wednesday following the charge. 

The video, which went viral on social media, portrays Pandi visiting a two-wheeler showroom in RS Mangalam and demanding supply of electrical goods worth about Rs 29,000. Pandi reportedly said in the showroom that the products are required for the office of the additional superintendent of police (headquarters).
