Tamil Nadu’s 38 centres witness Ayyappa Jyothi

Nagercoil: Amid the chanting of Sharanam and the lighting of lamps, the Ayyappa Jyothi event was celebrated at 38 centres in Tamil Nadu. The Ayyappa Jyothi programme started in Kerala and spread to 11 other states. In Kanyakumari, it was witnessed at Vivekananda Rock Memorial. People lined up on either side of the road and lit lamps and passed the flame to the nearby persons, thus giving the feeling of travelling lights.
