Tamil Nadu: 21-year-old student attacked with weapons, 3 suspects arrested

A student from Tamil Nadu, Mukesh, who was involved in several rowdy activities, had an unexpected attack by his rivals in Avadi, outskirts of Chennai. The rival students, belonging to a college in Chennai, attacked Mukesh with a machete and other heavy weapons. They, however, cleared the scene once the police arrived, leaving Mukesh in a pool of blood. While Mukesh is admitted in a hospital nearby, the 3 suspects have now been arrested and jailed after spotting them on CCTV footage.
