New Delhi: With home minister Rajnath Singh and outgoing Director General (DG) of Border Security Force (BSF), KK Sharma hinting at "avenged" action against Pakistan for its mischief along the International Border in Samba sector, speculations are rife that there is a bigger action like surgical strikes.

While speaking to the media on Friday, Rajnath hinted at a bigger action against Pakistan for its nefarious designs.

The home minister said, "Kuchh hua hai, main bataunga nahin. Theek thaak hua hai. Vishwas rakhna theek thaak hua hai do teen din pehle. Aur aage bhi dekhiyega kya hoga (Something has happened but I will not reveal it. Everything went on fine two or three days ago. Have faith in us. Just wait and watch what happens next)."

Sharma also indicated at same action against Pakistan. He said, "We have taken sufficient action across the LoC to avenge the death of our soldier. We also reserve our right to retaliate at an appropriate time and place of our choosing".

Sources told MyNation that Indian Army had conducted a look-a-like surgical strike type of operation across the LoC.

There are speculations that the brave hearts of the Army carried out a massive anti-terror strike across the LoC somewhere in the Kashmir region.

Speaking to MyNation, Brig. Anil Gupta (Retd) said, "There is no official announcement in this regard. But I feel if it has happened, it shows the courage of the Indian Army and other security forces to penetrate deep inside the Pakistan territory and conduct search operations."

"Since, we are not aware of the type of operation which was carried out by our security forces, there could be two types of operations which they have conducted. If they have conducted this through the International Border then the BSF's only option is to fire on the enemy post and they can damage their posts to the maximum. They can use 81 mm mortar but if it comes to the LoC where the Indian Army is deployed, there we can expect a big surgical strike kind of operation where our Commandos can go inside the territory of Pakistan and conduct raids on the terror camps which are being operated on the other side of the LoC and are sponsored by Pakistan," he added.
