— ANI (@ANI)Early in morning, Security forces have surrounded two to three militants at the Lal Chowk of Anantnag where commandos of the 10 Para Special Forces were deployed to flush them out in the ongoing encounter.
"An encounter Underway In Anantnag's Lal Chowk where two to three militants believed to be trapped, As a precautionary measure, mobile internet services have been snapped in Anantnag, to prevent the spreading of rumours and calling protesters around the site. The train services have also been suspended from Banihal to Srinagar and curfew has been Imposed around encounter site," security officials told MyNation.
Soon after the encounter started between the joint team of Army, CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir police, the Army pressed its Special Forces as one of the constables suffered injuries and was shifted to a local hospital.
Meanwhile, the Army is also engaged in an encounter on the LoC in Keran sector when a group of Pakistani terrorists was trying to infiltrate from there.
"Encounter started between the terrorists and Army is on at the LoC in Keran sector of North Kashmir's Kupwara district. The exchange of fire is still going on between the troops and the terrorists," the sources said.
