At least in principle, senior RSS functionaries concede that even Congress president Rahul Gandhi could be an invitee.
New Delhi: As part of its continuous efforts to reach out to contending ideologies, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat would be interacting with thought leaders from various walks of life and from the whole political spectrum in a three-day lecture series at Vigyan Bhavan here, September 17-19.
At least in principle, senior RSS functionaries concede that even Congress president Rahul Gandhi could be an invitee.
The RSS’s all-India prachar pramukh Arun Kumar said the programme, “Future of Bharat: An RSS perspective”, was being organised, “realising that there is a growing eagerness amongst larger sections of the society, including the intellectuals and the youth, to know and understand the RSS’s perspective on various issues of national importance.”
“We can invite anybody; it is our prerogative,” Kumar said on whether Gandhi too could be invited.
“Today, Bharat is moving ahead towards regaining her special and unique position in the world among the galaxy of nations,” Kumar added.
