Republic Day 2019: Here is how south Indian states celebrated R-Day

The south Indian states - Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana celebrated the 70th Republic Day with patriotic fervour. The states’ respective governors hoisted the flags after various teams marched to showcase the glory of united India. The students took part in cultural programmes and rekindled the spirit of patriotism among the people who had gathered to witness the proud event. Various political leaders also hoisted flags along with their supporters in their respective states.
