Raipur: While campaigning for Congress in Chhattisgarh, MP Raj Babbar seems to have played what is being touted as the worst hand of vote bank politics.

At a press conference, Babbar said, "You cannot stop people who are out to cause a revolution with bullets. No decisions are made by guns or threats from both sides. The solution is to have a dialogue. I have given this opinion to the party."

Voting will be carried out in two phases in the naxalism-affected state- first phase in the highly sensitive areas on November 12 and the second on November 20.

Babbar also said, "Naxalism and terrorism occur when there is an absence of human rights. Those whose rights are snatched are forced to pick up arms to fight for their rights. We have to sit with these people and talk."

The Congress MP's remarks come at a time when two police officials and a journalist were recently killed by naxals in Dantewada. Not only this, but the journalists were also threatened to not accompany security forces henceforth.
