Pulwama terror attack: Indian envoy to Pakistan called back to Delhi

New Delhi: Indian envoy to Pakistan Ajay Bisaria has been called back to Delhi. According to sources, he has been back for consultations. 

This move came 24 hours after Pulwama attack, which rocked Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. 

A Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist rammed his explosive-laden vehicle into a bus carrying CRPF personnel, killing at least 40 jawans. This was the worst terror attack on the security forces in Kashmir.

Meanwhile, protests have broken out outside the Pakistan high commissioner in New Delhi.

Earlier on Friday, India had also summoned Pakistan's top envoy Sohail Mahmood and lodged a strong protest over the terror attack by terror group Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM). 

The diplomatic ties between India and Pakistan haven’t been completely snapped yet.

"Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) will initiate all possible diplomatic steps which have to be taken to ensure the complete isolation from the international community from Pakistan of which incontrovertible evidence is available of having a direct hand in this gruesome attack," finance minister Arun Jaitley said.
