Puducherry farmer denied water for 6 years, Lt Governor Kiran Bedi's intervention solves problem

Puducherry: Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry, Kiran Bedi took authorities to task on water connection being denied to a farmer. The farmer had been applying repeatedly for a water connection to his farms. But the authorities cited technical problem and denied him the connection. The issue was brought to the notice of the governor, who visited the spot and questioned the authorities. With her intervention, water connection was allotted to the farmer in no time.
