A teenager from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), who accidentally crossed the Line of Control (LoC) and was jailed, doesn’t want to return home. He wishes to stay back in India and act in Bollywood movies.

Last year, the 16-year-old Ashfaq Ali crossed the border and entered India. He was caught by Indian security personnel in Nowshera, Jammu and Kashmir.

Back then, nothing suspicious was discovered about the teenager and he was moved to a juvenile home in Ranbir Singh Pora district of Jammu and Kashmir. However, he managed to escape from there. Fifteen days later, he was arrested in Bhatinda, Punjab where he reached by travelling on a goods train.

Now, after completing his prison sentence, the Indian authorities are legally releasing him to his country, but he doesn’t want to go back.

Ali told the media that India is good and wants to stay back. He wants to go to Mumbai and act in Bollywood movies. He wished the Indian government would let him stay.

“I don't want to go back home. I wish to stay here and go to Mumbai to try my luck in Bollywood. I grew up imagining I would realise my dream in Mumbai,” Ali was quoted as saying by The Times of India.
