New Year: Bengaluru Police ensure peaceful celebrations

The Bengaluru Police made all arrangements and here is how they helped people welcome New Year safely and peacefully.
 

Bengaluru: The Bengaluru Police deployed additional forces, installed CCTV cameras, restricted vehicle movement, seized alcohol bottles from those thronging in and around the central business district (CBD), where the city welcomed the New Year. The police ensured a safe and peaceful New Year for the revellers. The women police officers were stationed at MG Road and also, the deputy commissioner of police (DCP) D Devaraja was on a watch tower throughout to ensure no untoward incident happened. Here is how Bengalureans celebrated the New Year on MG Road.
