Villagers empty pond after woman carrying infectious disease drowns

Dharwad: Recently, an unidentified woman committed suicide in a pond near Dharwad's Navalgund village, Karnataka. The villagers alleged that the lady, who committed suicide in the pond carried an infectious disease and has now contaminated their only source of drinking water. The villagers decided to empty the pond and fill it with fresh water.
