Along with surveying one’s booth, the new platform also gives volunteers the chance to interact with PM Modi on the ‘Mera Booth Sabse Mazboot Samvad'
New Delhi: The NaMo app, which is Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s personal mobile application, started selling merchandise for the youth ranging from coffee mugs to T-shirts carrying Brand Modi. A volunteer platform was also launched as part of the app on the prime minister's 68th birthday with an eye on the 2019 general elections.
“Volunteer for India” is the theme of this new initiative and is aimed at mobilising the youth ahead of the 2019 polls.
This will act as a one-stop shop for all volunteer activities and give multiple options for online and onground volunteer activities.
Along with the volunteer and merchandise platforms, a micro-donation platform too has been launched. People can now buy exclusive NaMo merchandise such as T-shirts, caps, mugs, stickers and fridge magnets from the NaMo app at competitive prices.
The micro-donation platform would enable people to support the party with small contributions ranging from Rs 5 to Rs 1,000.
Willing persons can volunteer by registering themselves and then keying in their areas of expertise and interests. Thereafter, there are also avenues from where they can share positive achievements of the Modi government with each other.
The platform gives information about events in the vicinity and the freedom to also organise events and associate others by invites. Along with surveying one’s booth, the new platform also gives volunteers the chance to interact with the prime minister on the ‘Mera Booth Sabse Mazboot Samvad'.
