Shashi Tharoor attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Thiruvananthapuram for not wearing the Muslim skull cap. He called the headgears adorned proudly by the tribes of North East India “outlandish” and the Naga headdress as “hilarious” as it was full of “feathers”.
MyNation is proud of India's diversity and tradition. Here's a video of PM Modi adorning different cultures and their traditional attire.
Narendra Modi wore a traditional 'dumluk' which is the headgear of the Adi tribe while addressing a rally in Arunachal Pradesh. During a joint rally of SAD and BJP in Jagraon, Punjab, he wore a 'pagadi'. At a rally conducted in Assam, he was seen wearing a traditional 'Koyet' turban. At a public meeting in Imphal, Modi was observed wearing Assamese 'japi'.
