Missing couple's corpse found burnt to ashes in Kalaburagi

Kalaburagi: On November 30, Sulepeth police officials received information that two corpses have been found in a field. They were found charred to death. Earlier, a couple from Kalaburagi had gone missing. Parents alleged that their son and daughter-in-law had been kidnapped by relatives over the payment of  vadhu dakshina (a price paid for the bride) three years ago. The missing couple is identified as Ajay (40) and Jyoti (28), and he had given Rs 50,000 to her parents as bride price. Police officials have alleged that the remains might be of the couple who went missing. Further investigation is awaited.
