3 out of 5 slain Maoists of Malkangiri identified days after police eliminated them (Video)

Three out of five Maoists killed recently by the police in the Bhejangwada jungles of Malkangiri, Odisha, have been identified, the superintendent of police in the district, Jagmohan Meena, has informed.

The police have recovered advanced arms and ammunition from the dead maoists.

The iudentified Maoists were Ugna Sori alias Kirti, Mase Madhi aka Sunni and Kundruka alias Rupi. They were members of the naxal gang that operate under the banner of Kalimela Dalam.

While sources say another naxal called Randev was killed in the police operation, they add that the Maoists succeeded in fleeing with his body.

Two more dead Maoists are yet to be identified.
