Malayalam filmmaker Lenin Rajendran passes away at age 67

Lenin Rajendran was 67 and was undergoing treatment for liver-related ailments at Apollo Hospital in Chennai, for the last three weeks. He died at 8:45pm, sources said.

Known for his unique style of filmmaking, Rajendran entered the film industry by directing the movie Venal during the early 1980s. He is survived by wife Dr Ramani, daughter Dr Parvathy and son Gouthaman.
