Leopard attacks Vellore villagers; three injured

Vellore: A leopard attacked three people after locals gathered to see the animal in Tamil Nadu's Vellore on Thursday afternoon. Earlier on Thursday morning, a farmer named Bharathi was attacked by this wild cat while he was working in the field. The victims were rushed to Vaniyambadi government hospital for medical treatment. Following the attacks, the word about a stray leopard roaming the field spread like wildfire. The forest officials are presently planning to trap the leopard and release it away from human contact.
