Kerala: Vision-impaired state award winner Vaikom Vijayalakshmi gets married (Video)

Vaikom: Famous singer Vaikom Vijayalakshmi and mimicry artist AM Anoop tied the knot on Monday (October 22). The ceremony took place at Vaikom Mahadeva temple in Kerala at 10.50 AM. Anoop is the son of Narayanan Nair and Laila Kumari, residents of Kochozhukayil in Puliyannur, Pala. Vijayalakshmi is the only daughter of V Muraleedharan and Vimala, residents of Usha Nivas in Udayanapuram. Vijayalakshmi may not be able to see, but all her songs capture millions of views online. She has captured several Keralite's hearts with her songs and she is a recipient of the state award. She is also proficient in playing the Gayathri veena.
