Kerala rains: NDRF rescues people as well as dogs from flood waters (Video)

 National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) personnel turned saviours for the 17 domestic animals including dogs in Cheruthoni, Idukki, Kerala. The animals were stranded on an island when Periyar river overflowed. After struggling for more than six hours, the team took food for the animals that were starving for days. Idukki's district collector K Jeevan Babu instructed to rescue the animals.
