Kerala Governor visits Kochi Muziris Biennale; event sees rise in women artists

Kochi: "Kerala should preserve KMB (Kochi Muziris Biennale) artworks," said Governor P Sathasivam, while visiting the fourth edition of the Kochi Muziris Biennale. More than 50% of the artists in the Kochi-Muziris Biennale are women this year. 

Around 5 lakh people have visited the Biennale. This Biennale saw 109 projects by 200 artists, who are students. The event will conclude on March 29.

The Kochi Biennale Foundation has been organising this once in two years right from 2012.
