Kerala floods: Indian Coast Guard swings into action, save several in the State

Coast Guard rushes more troops in Kerala for flood rescue operations. The Indian Coast Guard has mobilised ten teams to assist the state Disaster Management Authority today in evacuating the people from the worst affected areas in the state. One Coast Guard Relief Team each has been deployed at Patanamthitta, Munanbam, Aranmula, Idukki, Ferok-Calicut and Allepy whereas two teams each have been dispatched for Aluva and Chengannur respectively.
