The victim narrated the incident to her husband when he returned home. She said, 'When my husband returned in the morning, I narrated the incident to him and we lodged a case against the accused.'
A married woman was allegedly gang-raped by three men in the Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday night.
The horrifying act came to light when the victim, a mother of three children, was admitted to the district hospital for treatment. She said, "I had gone out of my house to attend nature’s call when the incident took place. Three men forcibly took me behind bushes and raped me."
The Victim identified one of the accused as Balbir Singh of the nearby Salalpur village, while two others are yet to be identified. After raping her, the culprits even threatened to kill her.
In her statement, she said, “They told me they had recently murdered a villager. They threatened to do the same with me and my family if I disclosed the incident”.

Demanding justice, the victim asked," Everyone says 'Beti Padao, Beti Bachao' but when a mother of three is not safe, how can we expect our daughters to be safe when there’s no fear of law?"
