Karnataka: Kolar’s gram panchayat secretary refuses to create fake documents, gets attacked (Video)

Gram panchayat secretary of Ghatkanahalli in Kolar, Karnataka, was attacked by panchayat members for allegedly not cooperating in making fake documents. Victim Chalapathi claimed that as bill collector, he is tasked to oversee financial administration and two members Muniyappa and Suresh Banu are said to have pressurized him to make fake bills. As he did not cooperate, the duo got upset and warned him on Sunday and the very next day, Chalapathi was attacked. He is admitted in the hospital nearby and a case is registered.
