Karnataka: Indian Coast Guard evacuates 17 fishermen from a sinking boat (Video)

On September 20, the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) successfully rescued 17 fishermen from a boat 'Yashwardhan' while the they were on their way for fishing. A local fisherman informed ICG station Karwar, Karnataka, about the sinking boat and the ICG officials immediately rushed to the spot with an interceptor. All the fishermen were rescued unharmed. Later that evening, another fishing boat 'Amrutha' towed the sinking boat back to the Karwar harbour.
