Karnataka: Husband beheads 'cheating' wife, surrenders to police with severed head

In a horrific incident, a husband decapitated his wife with a machete after finding her with another man. The incident occurred in Chikmagalur district. The man carried the wife's severed head from Shivani railway station near Ajjampur in Thrikere taluk where the incident occurred, to a police station 20 kms away. The husband, Satish, had married Roopa, the deceased, nine years ago and has two children with her. Roopa had earlier cheated on Satish with another man from the same village. While Satish forgave her for the first time, seeing her with the same man once again, Satish lost his temper and killed Roopa and also attacked her paramour.
