Karnataka: Former gangster Muthappa Rai in trouble again after showing off guns, weapons

The Bengaluru City Crime Branch (CCB) police have filed FIR against the private company Black Cat Security and Services Company for providing security to Muthappa Rai.

An FIR has been filed against former gangster from Karnataka, Muthappa Rai for using services of a  private security company to perform Ayudha Puja with weapons including guns.

This is said to be in violation of Karnataka Private Security Agencies (Regulation) Act 2005. A complaint in this regard has been filed against the agency owner KP Vasanth, associate owner KN Subbaiah, CS Bharat and body guards of Rai - PM Kaverappa, CA gagan, MT Monnappa, Ranjith Rai and Alok Kumar Singh.

Interestingly, Muthappa Rai's name has not been added in the accused list.

Earlier, the CCB had sent a notice to Muthappa Rai, who is also the founder of Jaya Karnataka organisation and president of Karnataka Athletics Association, to be present in the police station with documents for the weapons he had on display during Ayudha Puja.

Trouble started for Muthappa Rai, after a photo of his wife applying vermillion, turmeric to guns, pistol and dagger, in the presence of Muthappa Rai and a priest, went viral on social media.
