Karnataka: Hunters kill deer, flee on seeing forest officials (Video)

In Hanakona forest area in Karwara taluk, Uttara Kannada district, Karnataka, a deer was killed by hunters. As the forest department’s officials were conducting checks in the area, the hunters spotted them and ran away leaving behind the dead deer. The forest officials recovered one of the hunters’ mobile phone from the spot and are investigating to trace the owner. The deer’s body has been sent for postmortem.
