Karnataka: Dilapidated water tank poses threat to schoolchildren

The overhead tank of the government school in Thimmapur village, Gadag district in Karnataka is posing danger to the lives of the students. The water tank is in a dilapidated state and might fall anytime. The students come out of classes to play under the tank, situated on the school ground. This might cause injuries to students. Repeated pleas to officers from gram panchayat and residents have fallen on deaf ears.
