Karnataka: Canteen workers in Kodagu shot at for asking customers to pay bill (Video)

Two workers of the canteen were shot, injured by two customers for asking them to pay the bill for egg roll they had consumed. The incident occurred at a canteen near the market in Kodagu, Karnataka. Riyaz and Sameem were working in the canteen, when two associates got egg rolls for their bosses and didn’t pay. The canteen staff asked them to pay, but they did not. After a while, they asked for gobi manchurian and the canteen staff demanded that they pay the money first. Angered by this, two who had sent their associates to get the gobi fired three rounds from the window of Cauvery bar, where they were seated. The accused are said to be Lokesh and Akram and the cops have taken one person (not known who) into custody. The injured Riyaz and Sameem have been admitted at a hospital in Madikeri. The Madikeri police have visited the place and have also seized the CCTV camera.
