Karnataka by-election: Snake enters polling booth in Ramanagara; staff shocked (Video)

Karnataka by-election: The staff on election duty entered the polling booth number 179 at Mottedoddi and were shocked to see a snake waiting for them. The snake was seen even before the election commenced. The staff informed the residents of Mottedoddi, who after a lot of effort, caught the snake and left it at a safe place, in the outskirts. The voting procedure began only after it was made sure that the snake was nowhere near the polling booth. Chief minister HD Kumaraswamy's wife Anitha is contesting the election. BJP candidate L Chandrashekhar quit the party and joined Congress just two days before the election. However, technically, his nomination cannot be withdrwan and his name will appear in the ballot papers/machines.
