Karnataka by-election: BJP worker in Shimoga detained, found guilty of distributing money for votes

A BJP worker in Shimoga, Karnataka, was detained from his duties after he was found guilty of distributing money to citizens, in an attempt to lure them to vote for the party. A senior citizen was spotted with a Ra 500 note along with his voter ID. Karnataka by-election is scheduled for November 3.
