Kannada organisations want Karnataka theatres to screen nothing but Sandalwood films (Video)

Bengaluru: Kannada organisations are demanding for only Sandalwood films to be screened in November across Karnataka, which coincides with the formation of the state (observed as Kannada Rajyotsava on November 1). They also said that all theatres and multiplexes must telecast 80% of the advertisements only in Kannada. They further want theatres and multiplexes to employ only Kannadigas. Recently, they held protests against Sunny Leone’s film Veeramahadevi and her scheduled performance in Bengaluru.
