Kannada actress Sruthi Hariharan files FIR against #MeToo-accused Arjun Sarja

After accusing Arjun Sarja’s media manager Prashanth Sambargi of threatening to kill her, Kannada actress Sruthi Hariharan has now filed a complaint against Arjun Sarja. 

Bengaluru: On Friday (October 26), Kannada actress Sruthi Hariharan filed an FIR against multilingual actor Arjun Sarja's media manager Prashanth Sambargi. Today, Sruthi Hariharan has filed a complaint against Arjun Sarja.


 
On Friday, Bengaluru's High Grounds police registered an FIR against Sambargi, based on a complaint by Hariharan. Following the complaint, Hariharan has now filed a complaint against actor Arjun Sarja in Cubbon Park police station today around 12:30 pm. 

Sruthi Hariharan accused multilingual actor Arjun Sarja in a Facebook post where she detailed the alleged harassment she faced. In the post, the actress accused Arjun Sarja of running his hands up and down her back and pulling her towards his body without her consent during the rehearsal of a romantic scene on the sets of the film Vismaya.

The Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC) attempted to douse the fire off between the two, but the two have decided to fight the battle legally

Earlier, Arjun Sarja filed a defamation case of Rs 5 crore against Sruthi Hariharan.
