Pawan Kalyan wants Jana Sena-BSP alliance for Lok Sabha election in Andhra Pradesh

Pawan Kalyan met prominent leaders of the BSP. He intends to meet party chief Mayawati soon to discuss more on forthcoming general elections and the situation of Dalits and backward class in the Telugu states.

Visakhapatnam: On Wednesday (October 24), Jana Sena Party (JSP) chief, Pawan Kalyan landed in Lucknow to meet the senior leaders of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). JSP leader Nadendla Manohar, Osmania students, experts and educationalists accompanied Pawan Kalyan. 

According to reports, it said that Pawan Kalyan is likely to meet BSP chief Mayawati to discuss about forthcoming general elections and the plight of Dalits and backward class in the Telugu states.

The actor met prominent leaders of the BSP in the state, but could not meet Mayawati as she was not available in the state.

Pawan Kalyan said that he was in touch with the BSP since 2007 and his purpose of this visit was to understand the possibilities and scope of both the parties. 

According to political speculation, it is said that Pawan Kalyan needs strong support from the Dalits and Kapus in Andhra Pradesh. If BSP extends its support to Jana Sena, it will bring add mileage to Jana Sena, and Pawan Kalyan will garner the support of Dalits.
